Santa Maria dell Salute (Saint Mary of Health), commonly known as Salute, is a Roman Catholic Church and minor basilica located at the Punta della Dogana of the city Venice, Italy.
It stands at the narrow finger of the Dogana, between the Grand Canal and the Giudecca Canal, making the church visible when entering Piazza San Marco from the water.
This Baroque designed church was built as a votive offering for the city’s deliverance from devastating outbreak of the plaque and dedicated this to Our Lady of Health.
