The work reveals the report on river health prepared by SANDRP (South Asia Network on Dams, Rivers and People) and warns that Mandovi river is on the way of depletion. It is revealed that, according to the recent findings of National Institute for Oceanography during the last glacial period, i.e. 20,000 years ago, both rivers, Mandovi and Zuari, flowed through the rocky terrain as a single river system before branching out separately. The water body then flowed with more water discharge as compared to the present discharge of the two rivers.
I construct a memory of the future which is very much important than the memory of the past. The topographical map of the river Mandovi is exactly transferred out from the google maps and the rest of data is borrowed from the found documents. The work explores the inter-state water dispute between Goa and Karnataka. The map shows the path of the river and also the proposed project components of diverting the waters from its basin to the ongoing construction of the dams in Karnataka by the Karnataka Government.
Goans are worried, if this project is allowed, a terrible disturbance would cause to the lifeline of Goa. In the times of worsening inter-state water disputes; rivers of Goa need to be protected on priority. There is urgent need to a well-planned strategy for protecting Mandovi river for present and for future generations

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0728/7098/5895/files/CRITICAL-DEAD_OR_DYING__INSTALLATION_VIEW_1.jpg?v=1778749291
the-blackened-garden
The Blackened Garden

Flora, a lush green landscape with plants, trees and flowers, has been depicted as the subject of absolute natural beauty throughout art history in the renaissance by the Great Master Painters. The ideal landscape has been the background of so many paintings based on biblical themes. Some of the masters have painted their own versions of ‘Paradise World’ beautifully. The visual is just an ‘ideal landscape’ where all is ordered, beautiful and fruitful. With the passage of time, it also came to stand for the life to come. The ‘Paradise’ considers the idea of the sacred grove, the garden and the perfect landscape.
