Art to me signifies beauty. Soul-stirring beauty that enchants, captivates the senses and evokes raw emotion. The process of creating as well as enjoying art is a deeply personal one & its meaning is all about individual perception.
I began my journey by expressing my love for wildlife through art, and continued to learn and discover myself through different forms of art. My artwork straddles the line between abstract & realism, depending on my energy flow, mood & topic at hand, but is primarily abstract in nature. Abstract painting comes naturally to me, as I value creative freedom and find unbridled joy in exploring and integrating colors, techniques and forms. Art is the love I have to give – energy, passion, self-
expression & evolution. When I am painting, I can feel my emotions rise in harmony and for the first time in my life, experiencing catharsis, almost sublime and miraculous, making me feel overwhelmed and free. This has greatly influenced my evolution as a human being in the recent past and I have found my calling. I can be described as “Left brained & Right brained”, alluding to my passion and prowess as an abstract artist, in sharp contrast to my prior scientific background as a pharmacist and strategist in the healthcare sector in India. My artistic energy is free-flowing, using vivid colors to depict realistic forms in an abstract setting.
